Volunteer

To become a registered Volunteer of SNA in your city, please send us an email expressing your interest along with a short resume about yourself, so that we can determine in what ways you can help SNA.

Once you have been named as a SNA Volunteer, you will be sent brochures and posters which you can use in spreading the word in your community. You will be partcipating in all the Indian functions by setting up a booth, talking with those who want to know more about SNA, enrolling those who want to come and live in SNA, and also seek donors to donate what they can. Most of the Indian organizations would offer SNA a free place to set up the booth.

You would be sent a list of people who have applied in response to our advertisements and other word-of-mouth news, to become residents of SNA. Your role would be visit such people in their current homes, gather more details about them and post your report on the website in a format that will be provided to you online. Your assesment of an individual’s situation will be key in the success of SNA. We should help all those who need assistance and identify those who are not in dire need.

You would also actively seek donations by holding fund raising events for the local community. If you need guest speakers, it will be arranged based on the availability of such speakers. Based on the amount of donations you raise in your community, you will be able to recommend people from your community who would be an asset to promoting SNA.

The amount of time you want to spend on this volunter work is upto you. You can dedicate full time or just a few hours a weeks as it suits you. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated by our seniors.
